Children's safety comes before everything else at 40 KIDS. Safety is built into the product, not bolted on.

A walled garden

Ananse, our AI tutor, runs inside a closed environment with no open internet access. Every reply passes through age-appropriate guardrails, and the tutor is instructed never to produce unsafe content or ask a child for personal information.

A trusted adult in the room

At a 40 KIDS hub, a trained local facilitator supervises every session. Children learn with a real person beside them, never alone with an app.

Data minimisation

We collect as little as possible about children, keep learning data on the device where we can, and never use it for advertising. See our privacy policy for detail.

For parents & guardians

A parent or guardian should help set up and supervise a child's use. If you ever have a safety concern, please contact us straight away and we will act on it.
